Are you ready? It’s time for the annual motoring summer festival in the UK with Goodwood Festival of Speed. This year, we are bringing along a whole host of our iconic past, present and (possibly?) future road, race and rally cars to the event. If you’re coming along this year, be sure to stop by our new Toyota stand and check out what we have on offer there. Don’t worry if you can’t make it though, we will bring you all the action right here and on our Twitter feeds (list of our accounts at the end of this post). Read on after the break for all the juicy details.
The all-new GRMN Sports FR Concept is a twincharged 320 PS track performer with its roots in the recently launched road-going Toyota GT86 sports coupe. The concept, born as a design study for motorsports enthusiasts around the world, will be on display at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed (June 29 – July 1). In the mean time, here’s some more info and a full gallery from our recent photo shoot at Zolder Circuit in Belgium.
The race is over for Toyota Racing at the 80th 24 Hours of Le Mans. After being pushed right to the back of the LMP1 class after a protracted repair session, the #7 car was forced to retire with further issues. We will update you with the details shortly.
Update: 05:00 CET: Our final race report is now available after the break.
“Anthony Davidson was taken to the circuit medical centre following his accident during the Le Mans 24 Hours. Doctors at the circuit have confirmed that Anthony is suffering from shock and back pain, however there are no signs of any injuries and he is walking and talking with no problems. He will be taken to a local hospital for precautionary checks but the team is relieved and happy to hear he is okay. Further updates will follow in due course.”
Update: 00:30 CET: Anthony’s team mates Stéphane Sarrazin and Sébastien Buemi have visited him in a local hospital where he is undergoing precautionary checks. He will stay there until Monday.
We’re all very happy to hear that he is OK and we wish Anthony all the very best! Our report after 8 hours after the break.

Interview in full after the break.
