2013 GAZOO Racing Toyota 86
Last month, Toyota Motor Corporation announced the GAZOO Racing entry for this year’s 24 Hours Nürburgring Race. Our Japanese outfit will once again tackle the Green Hell with two race-prepared Toyota 86 (marketed as the Toyota GT86 in Europe) and one Lexus LFA. You may have read Alastair’s post earlier from Paul Ricard at the unveiling of the TS030 HYBRID LMP1 racer. He spoke about the amazing sound the race car makes, when it goes from electric power in the pit lane to the conventional (albeit race prepared) powertrain as it joins the track. Well, what better way than to show you in an exclusive video. Mind you, don’t turn your speakers up too quickly… The internal combustion engine really does have an awesome kick!
A green house, a green mind
A few days ago Toyota France participated in the opening ceremony of our first Sustainable Retailer in La Rochelle in the west of France. This is the result of more than 5 years work between Toyota Motor Europe, Toyota France, Toyota Financial Services, the dealer group Toys Motors and his architectural team.
Out and about in the new Prius – finally!
Four months ago, I was writing about the new Prius and my desire to get into one for a drive. Thanks to Johan and Dirk, I managed to do so last weekend. I previously had a Prius for a couple of years, so I was looking forward to giving the new model a go.
