Welcome to the Frankfurt Messe! We’re here with Toyota and Lexus and we have some really exciting things to show you. Click through the break to follow us throughout the opening Press Days for all the latest news and views.
For us, it’s Day 2 in Geneva but the first Press Day only started today. As you might have seen from our Twitter activities, the Palexpo has already been a hive of activities since yesterday. The biggest news from Geneva are the world and European premieres in the flesh. For Toyota, this meant the Yaris Hybrid and FT-Bh were seen for the first time as well as the European debuts for the GT 86, NS4, FCV-R and TOYOTA diji Concepts. Lexus brought their new GS 450h and RX 450h as well as the LF-LC Concept, not to forget the raft of F SPORT editions for the line-up.
As promised earlier this week, we can announce another Lexus world premiere for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The newly redesigned Lexus RX will be yet another highlight starting next Tuesday on the Lexus stand. Have a look at the first teaser of the car. The redesign features the bold spindle grille that we are progressively implementing throughout our line-up. It’s a more emotional design language for Lexus, and it gives our models a stronger road presence. More after the break.
The countdown has begun for the 2012 edition of the Geneva Motor Show. In less than a week, we’ll all have packed our bags and be on our way to Switzerland. We’ve all worked really hard over the past few months – actually, the first preparations began a year ago already – to showcase some really great products and concepts. On the Toyota side, there will be two world premieres and four European premieres while on the Lexus stand there will be the award-winning LF-LC Concept Check out our preview after the break (and a sneak peek of the stands).
