It’s now halfway through the 83rd Geneva Motor Show. If you’re still planning to head out and check out all the latest Toyota and Lexus products coming to a showroom near you, you have until this Sunday, March 17. For now, it’s a good time as any to post a selection of photos and videos for those who can’t make it to the Palexpo. Enjoy after the break.
Along with the various world and European product premieres we’re bringing along to Geneva next week, we’re also really excited to reveal our brand new Toyota motor show stand design: “The Wave”. You may have seen a concept sketch earlier this month. The stand design is the result of an internal design competition between design agencies in Japan, North America and Europe. We’re really proud to say that the future of Toyota’s motor show identity is a European design. Behind the scenes look and exclusive pictures after the break.
The 2012 Paris Motor Show opened its doors to the public two weeks ago. Toyota and Lexus are there in full force with a range of exciting new products and concepts for the world to see. There’s still time to go. The show closes this Sunday. But, if you can’t make it to Paris, we’ve got you covered. And there’s also something very special going on for us in Paris! More after the break.
It’s Friday and we’ve got something cool lined up exclusively for our online fans. Coinciding with the line-off ceremony of the Toyota GT86 in Japan today, we’ve released a four-part video series detailing the design story behind our new front-engined, rear-wheel drive sports car. Featuring Chief Designer “Dezi” Nagaya, we filmed the series at the recent Geneva Motor Show where he explained four key aspects of the design in detail: the unique sports car heritage from the 2000GT, exterior, interior and the “86″ logo. Enjoy!
