"The Wave" - New Toyota Motor Show stand design

Along with the various world and European product premieres we’re bringing along to Geneva next week, we’re also really excited to reveal our brand new Toyota motor show stand design: “The Wave”. You may have seen a concept sketch earlier this month. The stand design is the result of an internal design competition between design agencies in Japan, North America and Europe. We’re really proud to say that the future of Toyota’s motor show identity is a European design. Behind the scenes look and exclusive pictures after the break.

Toyota Stand at Paris

The 2012 Paris Motor Show opened its doors to the public two weeks ago. Toyota and Lexus are there in full force with a range of exciting new products and concepts for the world to see. Behind the scenes in Geneva

It’s Friday and we’ve got something cool lined up exclusively for our online fans. Coinciding with the line-off ceremony of the Toyota GT86 in Japan today, we’ve released a four-part video series detailing the design story behind our new front-engined, rear-wheel drive sports car. Featuring Chief Designer “Dezi” Nagaya, we filmed the series at the recent Geneva Motor Show where he explained four key aspects of the design in detail: the unique sports car heritage from the 2000GT, exterior, interior and the “86″ logo.
