Jean-René, a Toyota employee who is also a beekeeper, had submitted the idea to the company when he saw that beehives had been installed at PSA’s Sevelnord plant.

TMMF had plenty of room for their installation. And the use of pesticides is banned from the land. TMMF also offers a kitchen gardens to employees. Jean-René enjoys Toyota plant’s environment, where 6,000 additional trees have recently been planted. He expects his second honey harvest in September. He also points out that the honey he produces is organic, as he uses natural products to combat pests.
