For the third consecutive year, Toyota and Lexus vehicles recorded the lowest average of CO2 emissions in the French market in 2014.
According to CO2 emission figures of all new vehicles sold in France in 2014*, Toyota and Lexus vehicles emitted the least CO2 – 105g/km in average. (see the bar chart below: average CO2 emissions by manufacturer)
This is the third consecutive year that Toyota and Lexus topped this ranking.
‘Galapiat’ is a French word, often used in the south of France, which means a ‘turbulent child’ (Larousse dictionary).
The Galapiats, which we will be talking about here, is an association of 35 children, aged 10 to 16, in Grenoble, France.
Helped by 15 adults and volunteers, they spend their Wednesdays, Saturdays and school holidays developing and constructing, from the scratch, vehicles inspired by race cars, adjusted to their scale.
This week our Toyota Motor Manufacturing France (TMMF) plant has harvested 38kg of its own honey for the first time and offered it to employees.
Industrial water is used for all production processes in vehicle manufacturing. Next to energy and waste, it is one of the biggest environmental impacts we have in the automotive industry.
Highest road in the world
Swiss husband and wife Paul and Brigitta Bohlen Jüni are not your average couple. Having met and fallen in love in the Caribbean, they went on to tour Australia together, cementing their relationship with marriage in Namibia. Their honeymoon wasn’t spent reading books on a deserted beach. TS030 HYBRID at Interlagos in 2012
When the chequered flag fell at the end of the 6 Hours of São Paulo last year, our TOYOTA Racing team were euphoric for they brought the #7 car back to pick up the team’s maiden victory in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
