In motorsport, it’s always about the next season, the next race. So at TMG, we are fully focused on the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship campaign, plus the TMG GT86 Cup season at the Nürburgring – and start is approaching fast.
But we also took the chance over the winter to take a look back on TMG’s motorsport heritage, all the way from 1979 when company founder Ove Andersson brought his rally team to Cologne up to 2013 when the TS030 HYBRID finished second at Le Mans. (more…)
Taking the honour of honours amongst a full house of legendary drivers, South African Giniel de Villiers and his Dakar Racing Toyota Hilux was honoured with the Driver’s Award at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Read more after the break. (more…)
Last year, the Goodwood Festival of Speed marked the UK launch of the Toyota GT86. This year, the popular sports coupé is back having won countless awards around the world since its debut. Motorsport fans will also have a rare chance to see Toyota’s Le Mans heritage in action on the world-famous hill climb, not to mention an impressive gathering of rally cars from past and present.
