Better handling and crisper steering for MY’15
There has never been any debate about the fact that the Toyota GT86 is the ultimate driver’s toy. Acclaimed for its sheer driving fun, its pure handling, it was credited for bringing passion back to Toyota. So is it the perfect sports coupé then? We thought so, until Chief Engineer Tetsuya Tada rolled out even better handling and crisper steering for the 2015 Model Year. He talks to us about the changes he made.
TMG GT86 CS-V3 at the Ring
As the curtain came down on the FIA World Endurance Championship at the end of November in Bahrain for TOYOTA Racing, VLN participants have also been putting their feet up to enjoy a well-deserved post-season break. Dakar Racing Toyota Hilux

Last year, the Goodwood Festival of Speed marked the UK launch of the Toyota GT86. This year, the popular sports coupé is back having won countless awards around the world since its debut. Motorsport fans will also have a rare chance to see Toyota’s Le Mans heritage in action on the world-famous hill climb, not to mention an impressive gathering of rally cars from past and present. V3 Class winner
Toyota and Lexus arrived at the Green Hell in force over the 24 hour race weekend with 10 race cars to tackle the 25km circuit. Toyota Swiss Racing secured the team’s second class victory in two years at this year’s rain-affected race. Click through to read more. (more…)
